Pools essay

Bending my knees and leaping my whole body into the frigid waters. Feeling the cold water rush all over my body trying to take the heat away from my skin and then coming up to the surface for a breath of air. I began to give my body time to adjust to the cool water. I could see everyone swimming around me while I slowly waded through the water.

You could see them smiling, laughing, splashing, jumping and swimming around in the cool blue water. It was almost impossible to swim around in the pool because there were so many people there that day. Everyone wanted to get out of the heat and cool off even if it was for a few hours.

There are various other sports that are associated with swimming like synchronized swimming, long distance swimming and water polo. Swimming for fitness is an activity which offers health benefits for a lifetime and is well worth the effort it takes to get into the pool. It increases lung capacity and makes the heart pump better.

You can develop great and strong swimming skills when you adapted to it when you’re young, who knows you might be a famous swimmer one day. But the importance is that you stay safe around water. if we and other schools had a pool we would be just as good swimmers as them.
